Ok this is the last set of pictures I'll post for a while I took all of these while pulling guard duty and there was a 4 hour long lightning storm, I'm just glad none of these came close to the tower I was in. :)

Oh wow! These are AMAZING! I LOVE lightning shots and these are some of the best I've seen! Glad it didn't come any closer! This is close enough!
Know that I'm here lifting your family up in prayer!
Hebrews 6:17-20 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

wow that is sorta scary.
Amazing pictures!
Those are amazing and scary all at the same time! WOW!
Those are really great lightning pics. You don't get lightning storms like that here in NJ, but growing up in KS - I used to love sitting on my deck and watching the storms.
Another "Amazing!" from me! WOW! Hey, I remember in basic training (Or was it AIT? I don't remember! I'm that old!) when we had to do guard duty for the first time. It was some ammo place, (probably long since abandoned LOL) and they stuck us out there in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere. There were 4 or 6 towers scattered around this HUGE place (a few thousand acres maybe) Of course, right before they put us out there they trained us on what to say/do should someone approach the tower. You just KNOW they set it all up to scar the crap out of us. There were all sorts of funky noises out there in the middle of the night, and I was sure I heard people whispering just outside the fence near my tower. They probably pegged me as the biggest chicken before they even sent us out there. LOL
