Like many guys out there right now I'm getting more and more excited about the upcoming football season. There's just something about vegging on the couch on a Saturday or a lazy Sunday afternoon just watching football and seeing all these overpaid millionaires hit each other! I find it both amusing and fun I guess I'm just weird that way. On saturdays you will more than likely find me watching USC games that I've set to record on my dvr. I find college football to be so intense and raw. There's no contract disputes, salary caps or bonuses, no egos that hurt the team's morale just simple and pure devotion to the game for the sake of the game. Yeah I know there are those players that all they want is to get to the NFL but overall I find college football to be extremely fun and exciting to watch.
As for the NFL well what can I say? It's a whole different animal, it's also exciting but you can see that these guys know they've made it so they don't play as hard sometimes. The star players really do shine when push comes to shove but I feel like some of the rookies are sometimes the most exciting one to watch. I'll be watching my 49ers whenever I can (even though the stink! ha ha) and I'll be watching the Titans because well they are due for a Super Bowl win this year. So I'll leave with just a little cheer for my team.

I used to watch football all the time. After I got married I lost interest! Now, it's racing and car shows! ;)

But...I was really disappointed watching them last night.
Oh well....maybe they got it out of their system before the season starts.
I love football time! We live in Knoxville and people bleed orange here and are die hard fans mostly! The whole city comes alive when football time comes around with everyone wearing orange and flying UT flags from everything :) I really enjoy living in a college town that supports their team so openly! As for NFL gotta love those Titians and Colts though I don't watch those games as much but my husband doesn't miss a one :)

Ahh Hey I am going to be at the USC vs. Ohio State game. My seat is in the 9th row on the 10 yard line so sometimes I get on TV. I will be wearing scarlet and gray:) Maybe you will see me.
Oh, I soooo can't wait for football either! I have that picture with their schedule on it set as my wallpaper. Hey, if you can fly out to So Cal in two weeks, we have an extra ticket for the season opener. Just putting it out there! Fight on!!

My husband and I are looking forward to football too... although we live in the sad world that is being Bills and Bears fans LOL... I asked DH if the Bills and Bears played who would win... he said they would both lose!
Since then they have played each other and my team, the Bears, LOST. Sad!!
Had a fantastic thing happen yesterday at church...a member came up to me and gave me FOUR tickets to the Mariner/Angel game next Monday! The main problem was figuring out who else to ask. So decided on my oldest, her husband and my husband. A double date! Now all I have to do is decide who to cheer for! I hate when they play each other...but love seeing the game!
