since I left Renee at a hangar and boarded a bus in the wee our of the morning to begin my 3rd full tour overseas. Deploying is never an easy thing and even though we are deployment veterans like many other military families in todays military that doesn't make it any easier for us. Yes we know how to cope with deployments very well and as for me I find myself getting in the deployment mindset very quickly, of course I'm sure it's also the same case for Renee only she has to deal with the questions the kids ask such as when is daddy coming home? Why can't we talk to him? Is daddy ok? I'm very blessed to have such a strong partner in this situation. I am also thankful that we have such a caring church family that will do just about anything to take care of all of us! (Thank you Grace Family)

It's been one week....
As for me over here well... it feels like i never left this place sometimes! I feel like I went on an extended mid-tour and now I'm back again to do the job I'm supposed to get done. Of course the scenery changed some but pretty much it's the same thing. I've found that some of my buddies here share this view as well, it's all very odd to say the least. I won't bore you with the details of this place but I will say that it's very desolate and sad but I hope we can make these people's lives better somehow.... Anyway I don't have many pictures of this place yet I've been running around trying to figure out where things are but I will post some pictures soon.

Matthew 11:28-30: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Praying as always!
Galatians 4:3-6: Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Praying as we head into Holy Week remembering all that our Savior did that we might have hope!
I Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Thanks for serving. Would love to hear about the deployment and 'what is really going on over there from the soldier's view'. Will pray that you and your fellow soldiers are kept safe and are home soon.- Pam
It's a privilege to be able to pray for you!
Revelation 1:5-6 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
